‘Everything You’re Not’ is the first single from forthcoming album by promising Danish trio, Helmet Compass.

“I’m wasted on cocaine and constantly bored…” sings frontman, Andreas Arenholt Bindslev, so nasally that you can almost hear the blocked nose. The sound is a mix of acid house and psychedelic rock, and sounds like the 90’s – if the 90’s were now, they self proclaim.

The laid-back, minimalistic video displays the three young lads sunk into a couch, smoking on a hookah… just chillin’.

Helmet Compass, completed by Johannes Astrup and Silas Michelsen, have recently moved away from their classic rock roots and teamed up with one of Denmark’s more interesting and productive young characters, Simon Littauer, who also works with internationally renowned Reptile Youth and Broke.

Those on Danish soil can check the band out live at the annual one-day festival, Stella Polaris, and relatively new Copenhagen Psych Fest.
