Following on from her recent appearances on Zedd’s hit single ‘Happy Now’ and Gryffin’s latest track ‘Tie Me Down’, up-and-coming singer/songwriter Elley Duhé has released her debut EP, DRAGON MENTALITY, via A Creative Music Group/RCA Records.

Lead single, ‘Lost My Mind’ is about human connection and was produced by Mike “Scribz” Riley. “In the song, I’m pleading to the outside world and people in my life to not abandon me or think less of me because I may be going through a dark period,” explains Duhé. “The point I’m trying to get across in the song is that something as simple as having compassion for someone is important even if you don’t understand what they’re going through.”

‘DRAGON MENTALITY’ features production by Joe Janiak (Ellie Goulding, Tove Lo, Britney Spears), Haze Banga (Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Selena Gomez), and Grammy-awarding winning producers Rahki (Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, 50 Cent) and Jordan Ware (Justin Bieber, Diplo, Skrillex).

Duhé grew up in the small coastal town of Daulphin Island, Alabama, where she developed a life-long passion for creating music – inspired by the deep southern art, food, and culture that surrounded her – and wrote her first song at the age of 14, with a guitar she received as a gift from her father. Following on from family gatherings, where she would have jam sessions with her dad and uncles, Duhé began playing for live audiences and traveled extensively throughout Nashville, Austin and L.A. during her later teenage years, to perfect her songwriting skills.

With her uplifting messages and powerful vocals, Elley Duhé is definitely one to watch in 2018.
