Set in Soho’s ICETANK, one of the most eye-catching and distinctive collections of fashion week was that of IRENE SJ YU, who presented a “lively collection which fuses office wear with a fun holiday wardrobe, re-defining the boundaries of clothing and occasion.”
In keeping with the theme of female empowerment, the IRENE SJ YU label seemed to aim to create a ‘cool-girl’ vibe, featuring a girl gang style presentation whilst guests mingled in the room and admired the collection. A huge hallmark of the collection was loud prints, with tiger stripes, grids, wood prints, straight stripes and logo motifs featured against neon pink and white fabrics. The pieces in the collection were tailored fabrics presented in the form of holiday silhouettes, a popular choice at LFW this season.
