Following the release of her album, Apocalypse Girl, earlier this year, Jenny Hval shares the new video for album standout track, ‘Take Care Of Yourself’.
Filmed at Stage 48 in NYC, opening for Perfume Genius, the video is just a glimpse of what to expect from the Norwegian artist’s brilliant live show.
‘Take Care Of Yourself’ dreams of an old sci-fi film where choir girls are punks as Jenny tackles issues of socialism, capitalism & feminism with her lyrics.
Hval and her band mates – Havard Volden, electronics, Annie Bielski, performance artist, and Zia Anger visual enhancement – will be returning to the UK this autumn for a full run of shows in November.
