The Great Kurt Disclosure

Brett Morgan rewinds the turbulent life of the 90’s most legendary icon. With rare family-approved footage, and intimate interviews with the people closest to Kurt Cobain, the documentary Montage of Heck will take you back to the still resonating roar of the grunge wave.

The movie, which has already been presented at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, portrays little Kurt blowing out the candle on his 2-year birthday-cake, along with cartoon versions of his savage teen life. Rare home videos of Courtney and their daughter Frances Bean in the bathroom are also among the scenes of the trailer for the forthcoming documentary.

The rise and fall of a rock legend. The inhumane pressure of fame that squashed a sensitive man to his ultimate. This movie will show us the true story of Nirvana’s great egoist – much more than the wretched and miserable figure that he posed as during his short life in the spotlights.

Montage of Heck is due to hit UK cinemas on 10 April and Los Angeles the 24 April.
