“If the ride is more fly, then you must buy.”

This weekend sees the eleventh edition of Lovebox festival, as you know it, hitting East London’s Victoria Park.

The two day event features Rudimental headlining on the Friday, and that ol’ hip-hop puppy, Snoop Dogg on the Saturday.

Lovebox founders, Groove Armada will also be making a return, with the legendary dance duo set to hit the decks in a top notch setting; and they’re pretty happy about that. “First it was an album title. Then club nights in a strip club on Tottenham Court Road. Then it became a festival when we threw an outdoor party on Clapham Common,” goes the story. “Finally, on Victoria Park, we found ourselves running a 65,000 person weekender. For the first time since handing over the  keys to Lovebox in 2012, we’re coming back to the park. Friday 17th July, on the Elrow turntables alongside Jackmaster, Acid Mondays, PBR and others. House music GA style, a London debut of a new house album, and trademark elrow circus mayhem.”

Highlights include, Bonobo, Squarepusher, Nils Frahm, Hot Chip, Cypress Hill and Jessie Ware. Check out the programme for full line-up.

In the words of Snoop, “It’s going down don’t meet me there beat me there. ugot2doit”
