On Repeat: New Queen of Bop Kim Petras Covers The Killers’ ‘Human’ for Spotify

Are we human, or are we dancer?

We’re loving the new stripped back cover of The Killers‘ ‘Human’, by Spotify RISE artist Kim Petras. The track was recorded exclusively for Spotify at their studios in NYC, along with an acoustic version of her own song, ‘Hills.’

The Spotify Singles swiftly follow ‘Heart To Break‘, Petras’ latest single released just last week (which got its first spin on Radio 1’s Adele Roberts‘ Best New Pop Playlist show) and her recent collaboration with Charli XCX on Unlock It (ft. Kim Petras and Jay Park) from Charli’s Pop 2 mixtape.

Petras’ breakout single I Don’t Want It At All’ featured a special guest appearance by Paris Hilton. The song has amassed more than 6 million Spotify streams and hit #1 on the Global Spotify Viral Chart.
