Our speakers are burning as Shura premieres new single ‘What’s It Gonna Be?’ ahead of debut album, Nothing’s Real (Polydor/July 8th).
First aired as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record, and co-produced with Greg Kurstin in L.A, the track is a euphoric mix of Bruce Springsteen-inspired rock and affecting R&B vocals.
Do I tell you I love you or not?/’Cause I can’t really guess what you want/If you let me down, let me down slow
‘What’s It Gonna Be?’ is a story of unrequited love… or is it? The question’s not yet been asked but the object of affection is unavailable.
I’m on my own/You’re at the beach/Hundreds of miles away/I don’t wanna be that girl
We don’t wanna be that girl either…
