Summer Camp have embraced the holidays with their new Christmas EP, out now via Moshi Moshi.
“We love Christmas and we love Christmas music,” said the band. “Christmas can be a time of high drama; the old family argument that always seems to come up, or it can be a time when you realise all the great stuff in your life. We’ve made an EP with some new songs celebrating all those things, and we’ve put a couple of our favourite Christmas covers on there too.”
Original tracks, ‘I Don’t Want To Wait Til Christmas‘, ‘Here Again‘ and ‘Done With Christmas‘, are accompanied by a cover of Wham‘s ‘Last Christmas‘ and ‘Christmas Wrapping‘ by The Waitresses.
Summer Camp will be completing their Christmas with an acoustic show at Hackney Picturehouse on 19 December, and the performance will be followed by a screening of the Will Ferrell Christmas classic Elf.
The Christmas EP is now available for streaming via iTunes and Spotify.
