Uniqlo, famed for its budget friendly style staples, is not a name you would expect to hear uttered in the same sentence as ex-creative director for Hermes, Christophe Lemaire; but thanks to their up-coming collaboration for Autumn 2015, it’s probably one you’ll be hearing-a lot.
From the first look at designs from this unexpected partnership, it’s going to be extremely popular. Full of simple style staples, these thick, cosy knits in an easy to wear neutral palette are bound to be flying off the shelves come October.
Lemaire commented, βOur philosophy is close to Uniqlo’s. Uniqlo designs quality garments for everyday life. It’s not trend-driven. Everything is about the product and technological innovations.”
The Uniqlo x Lemaire range, priced from β¬20 to β¬180, with 30 women’s styles and 25 men’s options, hits stores this October.
