Copenhagen Fashion Week: Streaming Live for SS17

Maikel Tawadros kicked off the spring/summer 2017 Copenhagen Fashion Week catwalk presentations in the Danish capital today, but there’s more to come, and you can catch some of the live action, wherever you are in the world.

Three select shows will be streamed live via the copenhagenfashionweek.com home page, starting with Won Hundred at 18:00 today (that’s 17:00 London-time), Ganni at 14:00, Thursday, and the Zalando Trend Show, also tomorrow at 20:00.

In addition to live-streamed shows, several will be filmed and available for viewing online the same day, while commuters can catch the action on the go, thanks to a CPHFW collaboration with Copenhagen Metro, where video streams will be playing on large screens at Nørreport and Forum Metro stations.

As always, there’s also a load of events taking place during fashion week, including Fashion as Art, presented by I AM Rosé, Herrernes Magasin by David K, Gold and Tanía Sørhus, this Friday at BAR25. The event, by fashion and street photographer, Omi, will showcase street couture by Animalistic (designed by Lousie Hylland), with live music from Danni Elmo and Daniel Rosenfeldt.

Check out the Copenhagen Fashion Festival website for events open to everyone over the next few days, and join in the fun!

Costume.dk‘s simply [fit] blogger, Cecilie Blaksted, will be on the ground for FMS Magazine this season, checking out shows and chatting to makeup artists backstage. Follow FMSmag on Instagram for updates, and look out for Copenhagen Fashion Week’s official newspaper, The Daily (distributed at Nørreport, Kongens Nytorv, Bella Center and Lufthavnen) to keep up with all the action.
