Following his break into Radio 1’s ‘Best New Pop’ show, British singer Adam Hender has released a music video for his new pop ballad ‘Burn’, which has already gained over 100,000 Spotify streams in just a few weeks.

A song that describes the fragile and complex side of love, ‘Burn’ outlines a darker side to relationships and when they become toxic.

“It’s very personal to me. It’s about a toxic relationship which I’m sure plenty of people have had too. I hope people relate to it.”

“It’s very personal to me,” says Hender, whose songs are inspired by the fragile nature of relationships and friendships formed from a childhood in North Wales to adventures across North America. “It’s about a toxic relationship which I’m sure plenty of people have had too. I hope people relate to it.”

Hender displays both a sensitive and a mature edge considering his age, drawing on influences from John Mayer to Dean Lewis. As the first signing to new independent record label, 3tone Records, it’s no surprise that Hender’s commanding vocal style and intimate lyrics have attracted the attention of industry veterans.

Adam Hender will embark on his first headline tour next month. Full dates below; tickets available HERE.

‘Burn’ is out now via 3tone Records.
