Formally known as Left Boy, genre-hopping idol, Ferdinand has revealed his brand-new pop anthem ‘Dynamite’. Further cementing his status as a multi-disciplinary megastar, the track is instantly catchy and oozes with soulful vocals and classic pop production.
“Dynamite is potentially the best song I’ve ever made. The record reminds me of late ’90s early ’00s Max Martin type pop productions.”
“Dynamite is potentially the best song I’ve ever made. The record reminds me of late ’90s early ’00s Max Martin type pop productions,” explains Ferdinand. “It’s not what we set out to do but that’s kind of what happened, and I really love that.” The song has been in production for a long time, taking over a year and a half for Ferdinand to perfect it.
Ferdinand launched his Left Boy project in 2010, when the Vienna based artist released a mixtape titled The Second Coming. The name marked a change in direction for the left-field hip hop artist, an epic double-disc journey through rock music which showed off the depth of his creative prowess.
Earlier this year, he released an EP titled Sex Party which fused together his past with his future, and now with ‘Dynamite’ he’s hit the pop jackpot! Truly unique in his approach, Ferdinand is an artist like no other.
‘Dynamite’ is out now.
