Malunga Shares the Light & Breezy ‘Fly’

East London native, Malunga returns today with yet another slice of new music to help melt your troubles away. On her latest RnB Acoustic track, β€˜Fly’, the soul-pop artist pesents a more mellow and reflective mood, showcasing her ability to move effortlessly through styles in her songwriting, as she follows on from the upbeat garage vibes of her previous single β€˜Toy’, released last month.

β€œ’Fly’ is a reminiscent song about my dreams as a child and the natural changes that happen in time. It’s about holding onto the belief that anything is possible.”

This new track takes its cue from a reflective, vulnerable, and positive lyricism that is Malunga’s innate talent. β€œ’Fly’ is a reminiscent song about my dreams as a child and the natural changes that happen in time” she says. “It’s about holding onto the belief that anything is possible.”

Malunga first burst onto the scene as a teenager in 2015, with her debut EP Exhibit A, having first honed her writing and performing credentials as a Roundhouse Resident Artist. She has gone on to independently release a body of work that demonstrates her powerhouse vocals and intimate storytelling. In particular, fan-favourite β€˜Learning To Love’ has continued to grow, through collaboration with the RNCM orchestra. She has also gained the support of National Radio from the likes of Toddla T (Radio 1) and Jamz Supernova (Radio 1xtra), and continues to collaborate as an artist whilst pushing boundaries within her work.
