Silvre Tells Us How It Is on Debut Single ‘You Don’t Really Like Him’

As a debut single, ‘You Don’t Really Like Him’ shines with all the knowledge and memorability of an experienced act. The work of exciting pop artist Silvre, it marks the start of what is to be an impressive musical journey for the rising star, as the first track from her debut EP dropping in 2021.

With low bass and soaring vocals, ‘You Don’t Really Like Him’ balances as a classic dark pop tune. The pitched vocals and distorted violins add to the sonic pallet created by production partners, Alix Robson and Chris Selfe, the perfect backdrop to the catchy hook line.

“The single is about the concept of finding love with people who have struggled in previous relationships, but funnily enough, those struggles are what made you fall in love with them.”
