Is it possible to have any more love for The Brian Jonestown Massacre?

Hell yeah, try this – the new video for ‘Pish‘, taken from their equally sublime, seven track Mini Album Thingy Wingy, currently caressing my eardrums and due out on November 13th.

Mini Album Thingy Wingy – co-produced, engineered and mixed by Fabien Leseure – combines the familiar BJM sound that we all know and love with eastern influences and, “the benefit of all the additional weirdness that’s been discovered in the past 40 years.”

Aside from ‘Pish’, co-written with Tess Parks, the mini-LP contains four songs by Anton Newcombe, a co-write of the band’s first Slovakian song, ‘Prší Prší‘, with Vladimir Nosal, and a cover of the 13th Floor Elevator’s track ‘Dust’, which features Alex Maas from the Black Angels on jug.

Recorded by Newcombe in his Berlin studio during 2014/5, and published on his a recordings label, Mini Album Thingy Wingy will be available on CD and double 10” red vinyl, numbered and limited to 1000 copies. A clear vinyl edition will also be available with alternative artwork.

I’ve got my Thingy Wingy, I highly recommend you get yours. November 13th – note it.
