This week’s playlist is brought to you by Pomo, the Canadian multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Vancouver who makes electronic beats influenced by hip hop, house, 70s and 80s funk music.

Growing up in Port Moody, British Colombia, Pomo cultivated his tastes and sound through the Vancouver electronic music scene, before moving for a time to Montreal and joining the likes of Kaytranada, Ta-Ku, and Stow on the HW&W roster.

Fêted LA label Huh What & Where, in collaboration with Kitsuné Club Night, will be bringing their unique brand of DJ sets, with a blend of hip hop, trap, grime and future beats, to much vaunted East London venue The Laundry on Saturday 30th April, as part of their 2016 European tour across eight cities, including Berlin, Milan and Amsterdam.

“Chord progressions to me are a very important part of the song and can greatly change the mood and feeling of the music,” said the artist. “I’m always searching for music with cool chords and here is a little list I put together of 10 tracks that have stood out to me with chords that I love. Hope you enjoy.”
