Film: Chelsea Boy feat. Andy Jordan

Not everything is black and white, especially menswear this season. The catwalks have been a veritable kaleidoscope of florals and pastels, all seemingly terrifying to the normal man on the street. But don’t worry! There were also some other (more wearable) options out there. Namely, the trusty black, white and grey. We show you how to work them into your everyday wardrobe with a little help from our favourite Chelsea boy, Andy Jordan.

Noir
Black is back, did it ever leave? Namely the black leather jacket. Now, we know that the biker has been knocking around for a few seasons, and we like it. We really do. But now spring is here, how about something a little less creaky and easier to move in… step forward the leather bomber! With just enough of a nod to the 90’s trend but fitted enough to make it now, it’s the perfect trans-seasonal piece that will take you all the way to summer. Layer over a dark jumper and jeans for a slick look. You rebel you.

50 Shades
Yes, we know. More grey. Grey marl is the gift that keeps on giving, having jumped successfully from gym wear to day wear we wanted to sharpen it up a bit. Pair it with a slightly tailored jacket (we dig the safari shape) and a pair of slim cut bottoms and suddenly you are ready for a date. Or spanking your misses…sorry wrong grey.

Blanco
Wearing white doesn’t have to be difficult. Make sure you use soft natural materials to avoid looking starchy, the relaxed cotton jacket from Hackett worked perfectly. Break it up with a striped tee, and pair with some jeans for a perfect smart/casual look. More Henley Regatta than a clockwork orange.
