The Howl & The Hum Announce Headline Tour Dates & Share Video for ‘Portrait II’

York’s hotly-tipped four-piece, The Howl & The Hum, have just announced a 16-date headline tour of the UK for early 2019, along with a new video for latest track, ‘Portrait II’.

This latest release is the long-awaited blockbuster sequel to ‘Portrait I’; three of your four heroes return to make a lonely noise about not moving very far very slowly. Eerie sounds haunt this isolating story about your friends’ lives blossoming around your own.

The Howl & The Hum deal in darkly elegant, intense guitar music to create rich, cinematic songs with nuanced, lyrical songwriting; fronted by singer-songwriter Sam Griffiths, one of the most engaging new frontmen to emerge over the last twelve months, his unique stage presence helps make the band – completed by Brad Blackwell (bass), Conor Hirons (guitar) and Jack Williams (drums) – such an essential live act.

Having spent the summer playing a string of festivals, the band are currently on tour with Boy Azooga, and last week played a spellbinding set at London’s Scala. Following their performance at this year’s Great Escape, the band have been announced as one of the First 50 for the event in 2019, and as such will be performing at The Macbeth in London on the 29 November. Headline tour tickets go on sale this Friday, 26 October.
